Making a memorable customer dining experience takes a village and all of the great teammates that work together often want to send tokens of gratitude by sharing their tip earnings. This is exactly why we have the Peer-to-Peer feature in the TipHaus Employee App! You can share your tips with your teammates for all of the typical industry reasons!
Examples of how colleagues have used the Peer-to-Peer feature:
Busser Alex went above and beyond for Server Martha this shift, and Martha wants to send Alex a few dollars as a token of appreciation for being a great teammate.
Bartender Susanna picks up a shift for her colleague Taylor, who really wanted to see a concert for her favorite band when she was scheduled to work. Taylor then sends her $20 with a note that says "I'll pick up a shift for you next week - thank you!"

What does the Peer-to-Peer feature do?
It allows you to electronically share a portion of your Take Home tips from the current pay period with another colleague(s). These transactions are simple, secure, and automatically reconciled in the Breakdown before payroll!
Where do I access the Peer-to-Peer feature in the Employee App?
We're happy to see you're interested! Simply tap on the money transfer tab at the bottom of the Employee App.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Peer-to-Peer is not enabled by default. If you would like to have this enabled, talk to your management about enabling this for your TipHaus account.
How do I set up Peer-to-Peer?
Super easy - simply press the "Setup my Pincode" button on the Peer-to-Peer home screen. You will set a unique four-digit PIN that you'll be asked to enter every time you perform a peer-to-peer transaction.
How do I use Peer-to-Peer to send money to my colleague?
By navigating to the Peer-to-Peer tab in the TipHaus Employee App, you can see which Peer-to-Peer transactions have occurred this pay period, or start a new transaction.
There are four (4) steps to complete a Peer-to-Peer transaction:
Step 1: Click the "+" icon in the bottom right-hand corner - this starts a new Peer-to-Peer transaction.
Step 2: Select the co-worker to whom you want to send money.
Step 3: Enter the amount of money you'd like to send.
Step 4: Confirm the transaction by entering your PIN (a.k.a., "Pincode"), as well as adding an optional note.
That's all! You should be ready to send tip-earning love to the teammates helping you do great things. 😎
