Hausmoney™: Why am I paying a fee when I withdraw funds from an ATM?

This article provides guidance on charges you will incur when withdrawing funds from an ATM.

You may have recently withdrawn funds from an ATM and noticed there was a fee assessed for the transaction. Keep in mind, there are two types of fees associated with ATM withdrawals outside of your bank's network: one is a surcharge from the ATM owner/operator, and the other is an out-of-network fee, in this case, Hausmoney™.

Hausmoney does not charge an out-of-network fee when you use your debit card to make an ATM withdrawal. However, the ATM owner/operator you choose to withdraw cash from may charge you. Therefore, the fee you see assessed for your ATM withdrawal transaction is coming from the ATM owner/operator, not from Hausmoney.
